In the Easy Platform Configuration Portal you are able to manage and configure Easy Directory for your tenant.
Easy Platform Configuration Portal is just accessible for Microsoft Teams Administrators
Easy Platform Configuration Portal URL: https://admin.beta.easyplatform.app/easydirectory
Once you have opened the Easy Directory tab, you will first see an introductory video on how Easy Directory works
At the same time, you can see how many licenses you have already used and how many are still available. You can also assign the license to a specific user. This means that the user can always access Easy Directory
Finally, you can also contact support if you need help
In the “Manage function” area, you can activate or deactivate basic functions and extensions globally in Easy Directory. Here you will find a brief description of each extension to give you an overview
Personal Outlook Contacts
If personal outlook contacts is enabled, then all users can import their personal contacts from Outlook into Easy Directory.
Entra ID Contacts
If Entra id contacts is enabled, all users will see the contacts stored in the Entra ID
Shared Mailbox
If the shared mailbox is activated, all users will see the contacts stored in this shared mailbox.
Users must have authorization to access this shared mailbox. Otherwise, the contacts for this user will not be displayed
You can use the tags to mark your contacts individually. This allows you to create a clean and clear structure in which you can search for specific contacts
Manage Tags
Here you can independently define which tags you want to make available for distribution.
Manage Roles
Here you can independently define which users should have the right to distribute these predefined tags
You can use the organizational views to provide a predefined view for all users. This means that not every user has to create the same view manually
To do this, you can select a user in the first dropdown. You will then receive a selection of all views for this user. You can then decide which view you want to make available to all users
Only views that the user has marked as “public” are made available. If other users do not have access to the contact sources used, these contacts will not be displayed
